2010 Line Up

This is the 2010 Mets team I'd like to see happen. It's both reasonable and a little bit of a stretch, but definitely not far fetched.

C. Molina/Santos
1B. Murphy
2B. Castillo
SS. Reyes
3B. Wright
LF. Holliday
CF. Beltran
RF. Francouer

Rotation:
1. Santana
2. Halladay (If not, then Lackey)
3. Pelfrey
4. Maine
5. Perez

Reasonable, right? If everyone stays healthy, this is a very good line up. Let's hope.

  1. I like your lineup, but i don't know if it's all that feasible. Holliday Halladay and Molina would be a lot of salary costs to incur and i'm not sure the front office has that money to spend with the madoff situation. I love the lineup though, and that would definitely give us a contending team (barring injuries ha)

  2. Yeah, Halladay would be a great addition but that would be an obvious stretch. I'd be happy with Halladay and just a decent left fielder but I don't know if we'd go after him which is why I added Lackey as an option as well.

Molina would be just the best catcher option this off season in my opinion, but any starting catcher who has proven himself to be a decent commodity would be fine with me. All I really care about is an established #2 starter and a decent to big bat to fill the outfield.
